Vegan pear, apple, soy milk & coconut nectar sweetened cacaco nibs smoothies!

Yesterday, I made these stunning & tasty smoothies! It was my 1st attempt to create a new recipe using coconut nectar sweetened cacao nibs. These are tasty smoothies but they aren’t that sweet. That’s the way, I like them! 🙂

Healthy & vegan pear, apple & soy milk sweetened cacao nibs smoothies!

Make these yummy smoothies now! 🙂

Recipe: For 3 cups= 750 ml


2 cups of ripe pear smaller chunks, peeled, cored

1 cup + 1/2 cup of soy milk with a bit of vanilla in it

1/4 cup of coconut nectar sweetened cacao nibs

Low-Gi coconut nectar sweetened raw cacao nibs!

1 ripe sweeter apple, peeled, cored & cut into smaller chunks

maple syrup : 2 tablespoons, if you want it to be more sweet


1. Place every ingredient in this order in your Vitamix or power bender & blend until completely smooth. My Vitamix did it in 30 seconds on full high power. Taste! It will be a bit sweet but not too sweet. If you like it to be a bit sweeter: add some maple syrup or agave, 2 tablespoons if you want. I didn’t! Firstly, you taste the chocolate flavour, than the pear & then the apple! Enjoy, my lovely ones! 😉

  1. I’m with you I don’t like my smoothies very sweet on the other hand my family does which at times can be a problem. I just make mine first then do theirs. The coco nibs sound interesting in this drink a bit of chocolate sounds very good.

  2. I’ve tried coco nibs in icecream but this is a new and delicious way for me to eat them. Great work on this smoothie, not to mention the added health benefits!

  4. Cacao nibs in a smoothie is a novel idea. I’ve only baked with them. But I bet they would add a nice touch of earthy bitterness to a drink.
