Energizing & good-for-you juices & smoothies!

I have made & lot of shakes lately to start my day. I eat them after my cardio & full body work out. I also made a few home-made juices. I hope you will enjoy them as much as I do.

First, 2 lovely home-pressed juices of mine that are my favourite of this moment.

A tasty beetroot & ginger juice!

  1. What wonderful flavour combinations Sophie. I’ve heard the best way to start the day is to drink a freshly squeezed vegetable juice. I need to go out and buy a juicer just like yours.

  2. Dear Sophie,

your pics are as colourful as your culinary imagination. You really are The Impressionist of the modern kitchen!

  3. Sophie, I notice you don’t have an index for all your lovely recipes. I have posted the code and tried to make it nice and easy if you want to give it a go.

    Here it is.

    1. I just re arranged everything on my blog. You now find the most recipes under category cloud. I reduced my categories.
Than, I made a list with recipes by ingredient. When you click onto that, in my right sidebar, you will go at my other page where I listed my most used ingredients apart & linked back to my recipes.
I find that more easy to use than what you have & much cleaner on the blog too.

  4. Great healthy drinks Sophie! We too have been having berry smoothies made with real juice, yogurt and kefir milk, – a great way to start your day!

  5. I am really trying to incorporate more smoothies and I think if I had more good recipes like these to try the new habit would stick.

  6. Hi Sophie, first of all, best wishes for the new year! These drinks look soooo good, I will definitely try some myself! I’m a big fan of juices and smoothies but always lack the imagination to come up with new flavour combinations so I’m already looking forward to trying these!

    1. Hello, my friend! 🙂
I think if you enjoy beetroot combined with ginger, that you will love this tasty juice, I am sure! 🙂

    1. Thanks, Kiran! We only bought our juicer 1 year ago & it is the best way & easiest way to enjoy fresh juices, vegetables & fruit juices.

  7. Your juices look so lovely and vibrant! When I see fresh juice combinations like yours it makes me wish that I had a juicer too!

  8. Yummy recipes Sophie! These are soo healthy, and I can see how they would be fantastic after a workout! Good for you to be so health-concious and nutrition-focused!! I bet they are soo tasty 🙂

  9. Every time I see posts like this, it makes me want to invest in a juicer. Ahhh, the green one looks especially refreshing and inviting. What a great way to start the New Year — with something so good for you.

  10. Sophie – all of those juices and smoothies look so healthy and delicious! I really like the avocado – orange, the beetroot-ginger and the green one (so I don’t have to type out each vegetable lol) Also, your cheese dumpling stew below looks phenomenal! I just bookmarked it! YUM!

  11. I have a juicer which I haul out every time my daughter is here. She loves it! I don’t. But I do love fruit smoothies and have one every afternoon!

  12. Mmmm…I love juices and smoothies, too. They are just so healthy and refreshing….the best that we can do to our body. Your beetroot juice looks awesome and so is your vegetable juice.
