Yesterday, I made these stunning & tasty smoothies! It was my 1st attempt to create a new recipe using coconut nectar sweetened cacao nibs. These are tasty smoothies but they aren’t that sweet. That’s the way, I like them!
Recipe: For 3 cups= 750 ml
2 cups of ripe pear smaller chunks, peeled, cored
1 cup + 1/2 cup of soy milk with a bit of vanilla in it
1/4 cup of coconut nectar sweetened cacao nibs
1 ripe sweeter apple, peeled, cored & cut into smaller chunks
maple syrup : 2 tablespoons, if you want it to be more sweet
1. Place every ingredient in this order in your Vitamix or power bender & blend until completely smooth. My Vitamix did it in 30 seconds on full high power. Taste! It will be a bit sweet but not too sweet. If you like it to be a bit sweeter: add some maple syrup or agave, 2 tablespoons if you want. I didn’t! Firstly, you taste the chocolate flavour, than the pear & then the apple! Enjoy, my lovely ones!
